Top 5 Firefox Addons For Flock
By TheAntiHype | April 1, 2008
The new Flock Browser is becoming more important to me each day.
I’ve started to add Firefox Add-Ons and I’ve found most work just fine. These are my top 5 right now.
If you want to add them all you need to do is open up your Flock browser. Visit Firefox Addons and search for add-ons that you like or simply click on the links of my favourites below.
Although the Download buttons say add to Firefox they automatically install to Flock (exactly the same way as they do with Firefox).
I’ve tried the following which all work with Flock.
My top 5 add-ons for Flock:
Every lost a website URL because you closed your browser before saving?
Want to re-open several pages automatically each time you open your browser?
You need Session Manager.
I open up all of my social sites, Twitter, Pownce, Tumblr etc and save as a Session. Each time I wish to work with any of those sites it’s as simple as opening the saved session. Easy.
Adding this button to the browser toolbar enables sites to be easily Stumbled, Dugg etc. It works exactly the same as the ShareThis button on blogs.
Every accidentally opened a pdf report in your browser instead of saving it? You’ll know what a pain that can be when your machine gums up and refuses to do anything.
This Add-On resolves all of that. It warns you before you open a file and provides an option to Download or Open. This one is really useful.
Adds a toolbar at the bottom of the browser. Listen to your favourite music from a massive collection while you work.
If you use music video on your blogs easily find relevant tracks on YouTube to link to or embed.
A must for internet marketers. The video explains it all.
Please let me know of any Add-ons you use and why I should get them.
