Internet Marketing Product Launch Is Major Flop

Have you ever read such a headline?
Internet Marketing Product Launch Is A Major Flop
Do you expect to?
No nor do I.
But what if…
…the creator of the new Internet Marketing Product actually told the truth?
“Last year we launched a major new product aimed at people looking to start an online business. The launch was so successful our servers crashed and we outsold our targets by miles”
“Those guys are now onboard – the course material is sitting on their shelves and hard drives and they’re doing nothing with it. Their requests for support fall on deaf ears – they won’t do anything if we tell them how anyway – and we’re too busy with our next launch to provide the help we promised”
What is the measure of success?
The launch was obviously a success – wads of cash crashed through the doors like a freight train run wild (sorry, slipped into Guru talk for a moment) and now the initial burst of sales has dried up its time to move on to the next, bigger, better and financially more rewarding project.
And who’s funding this?
Guru Fodder – yes, the poor small guy trying to find a way to make it online.
To me, that IS NOT SUCCESS.
Success is measured not by your own success but that of the people you are promising to help.
How can it be acceptable, let alone right, that one minute you are told that this is THE SECRET FOMULA to success and within a blink of the eye the very same “gurus” are telling you that their latest project answers all of your problems.
THERE IS NO NEED to pay for these over-priced, promise the earth products.
There is no secret formula.
The information is available for free all over the internet if you have the time to look and know what to look for.
The issue, and it is a big one, is that if you’re just starting out you don’t know who to trust, what you need to know, what you need to do and more importantly what you really need to avoid. Unlike any thing else in the world where you pick up the product, take a good look, ask questions about exactly what it is capable of, Internet Marketing is shrouded in mystery.
Would you consider buying a car based on hype and promises, without seeing the vehicle, checking the specifications, reading independent reviews, taking it for a test drive?
I know I wouldn’t but…Internet Marketing products expect you to do just that. Or of course, you’ll miss the bonuses; the initial discount; the one time offer; the chocolate sauce; the…
Tell me what you think.
Am I really the only one who thinks we’ve all had enough?
